How is cleaning priced?
ART Cleaning Services charges a flat rate, not an hourly rate, so the price doesn't climb if a job runs long. Four things set the price:
- The size of the home or business
- The type of cleaning (deep, recurring, move-out, office or event)
- The layout and condition of the space
- How often you want service (homes: every two weeks or monthly; offices: one to five days a week)
All estimates are free and include a walkthrough. As one customer put it, Ashley is "reasonably priced".

How much does house cleaning cost with ART Cleaning Services?
Every job gets a flat-rate price based on the size of the home or business, the type of cleaning, the layout, and how often you want service. Because those details vary so much, Ashley quotes after a free walkthrough. She won't guess a price from a description alone.
Why do you need a walkthrough before giving a price?
A walkthrough lets Ashley see the square footage, the flooring, the condition of the space and the areas that need extra attention. That means your flat-rate quote is based on your actual space, not a guess.
What areas do you serve?
Recurring home cleaning (every two weeks or monthly) is available in West Knoxville (including Northshore and Hardin Valley), Clinton and Oak Ridge. One-time cleans, such as deep, move-in/move-out and ready-to-sell cleans, are available throughout Knox and Anderson County, within 40 miles of our base. A travel fee applies when the drive is more than 30 minutes, and we don't book cleans beyond 40 miles. See the service area page, or call if you're not sure.
What is included in a deep clean?
A deep clean covers the vertical surfaces a quick clean skips: doors, blinds, cabinets, drawers, baseboards, trim, light fixtures and windows. Appliance interiors, such as the oven, can be added. The deep cleaning page has the full list.
What don't you do?
ART Cleaning Services does detailed cleaning, not maid services. We don't do laundry, dishes, bed-making, organizing or pet cleanup.
Are you bonded and insured?
Yes. ART Cleaning Services is bonded and insured, and Ashley brings all the cleaning supplies and equipment.
What cleaning products do you use?
Ashley brings everything. Recurring maintenance cleans mostly use eco-friendly products, and every job uses a color-coded microfiber system, so restroom cloths and mop pads never touch kitchen or office areas. The EPA notes that many conventional cleaning and disinfecting products release VOCs, and that indoor VOC levels can run up to ten times higher than outdoors (EPA, opens in a new tab).
Which payment methods do you take?
Visa, Discover, American Express, bank debit, electronic check, Venmo and Apple Pay. One-time cleans are paid on arrival, before the clean starts.
How fast will I hear back?
Ashley replies to every estimate request within one business day. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. For anything urgent, call (865) 361-6655.

Good to know before you book
- Supplies: Ashley brings all the cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Payment: Visa, Discover, American Express, bank debit, electronic check, Venmo and Apple Pay. One-time cleans are paid on arrival, before the clean starts.
- Cancelling or rescheduling: please give at least 24 hours' notice. Cancelling with less notice costs 50% of the cleaning rate.
- Not home? No problem. You can leave a key or use a lockbox.
- Follow-up: if you're not satisfied with a clean, Ashley follows up within 24 hours. After a one-time clean, she checks in within 24 hours to make sure you're happy.
- Closed: New Year's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, plus one week of vacation a year.
